Joker is from the winning show line of Dr.s Ken and Mary Wahl. He became a welcome addition to our farm, producing some outstanding show  winning ponies for us.  Always producing great length of neck, wonderful bodies, excellent dispositions, train-ability, with great motion.  We valued his addition to our farm, and the legacy he left behind. When I saw a video and pictures of Hidden Image FMF as a baby, I knew he was the stallion we needed for our breeding program.  That decision was one that I will never regret.  Wayne purchased him unbeknown to me as a Christmas Gift.  A decision I will be forever grateful for. One can only hope when choosing a stallion prospect as a foal that their decisions and instincts prove true.  Our choice has proven our decision and choice was the right one for us. Image’s siring ability has been a breeder’s dream, one can only hope their chosen stallion will produce as they had hoped and dreamed as Hidden Image has for us.  Bred to mares of diverse bloodlines he is consistently produced ponies with beauty, brains, athletic ability, long necks, great conformation for either Modern Pleasure or Classic, with that indefinable star quality, you can see the minute a foal hits the ground and you know it is “a good one.” A few of the Champions Hidden Image has sired for us are:

Sharrway Hidden Assets
Sharrway Hidden Sensation
Sharrway Hidden Exclamation

Sharrway Image of a Woman

....and the list goes on. Image’s production record speaks for itself.  If you are looking for a quality son or daughter, please contact us, we always have something of quality for sale, either by Hidden Image or one of our other notable stallions.

When the opportunity became available for us to purchase Reflected Image, from Rob Crater, I jumped at the chance. Reflected Image is a ¾ brother to our senior stallion Hidden Image FMF, and should fit right into our breeding program, continuing to produce animals that will be not only be pretty to look at, but also a joy to own, and be deluxe performance animals. We know what a wonderful producer his Dam, Michigan’s Rock ET has been by receiving  her Triple Superior dam award for her outstanding producing ability. Reflected Image FMF HOF  first foals for us will be arriving the end of March and into April. We selected some of our best mares and smallest mares for him, as he is double registered AMHR also.  We anticipate seeing if our knowledge of our bloodlines and what they produce are correct, by the addition of Reflected Image to our breeding program. That he would be a most welcome addition to our farms Stallion base.    Reflection as he is known here is a joy and pleasure to be around, always a gentleman, eager to please, and always with a sense of humor. More recent photos of Reflected Image after he has shed his winter coat. Photos of his foals will be posted as they arrive.

Lust's Classic Ebony

We were extremely fortunate to have had Ebony in our breeding program when we first started breeding American Shetland Ponies, thanks to Deanna Ahl.  Ebony crossed well on our mare base at that time, producing several National Futurity winners, Class Champions, and Grand Champions, and Draft Champions too. We were able to get Ebony back to Helen Lust before her death, and Ebony’s death, due to Cancer. He developed cancer of the penis, which was treated, but came back with a vengeance, so the best thing to do was send him back to his breeder, where he was loved and given the final days that he deserved, by a very close friend ,Alida Meakin,  as Helen’s health wouldn’t allow her to take care of him. We feel very honored and proud to have had him in our breeding program.  Some of his notable offspring are:

We were fortunate again to acquire another great stallion for our breeding program...
Pour the Wine, Bred by Cathy Harris DVM. Wine was a great producer for us his most notable off spring is Sharrway Spiced Wine, owned by Mark and Janice Cronin.  She has excelled in the show ring, both in halter and in Roadster classes in the Modern Under division.  We for see many more years of show ring successes for this little dynamite mare. Due to time constraints, with business and other work, we sold Wine to Russ Maas, where he had achieved his Hall Of Fame status, and is continuing to sire special foals.
